Controller / Financial Analyst
Turnaround Projects / Restructuring / Investment Projects

We mostly serve industrial clients in automotive, consumer business or original equipment manufacturers.
To support our project activities, we are looking for a Financial Analyst and Controller.
Major responsibilities on your assignments:
- Insure accuracy and predictability of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet results for both, actual figures as well as forecasts and budgets.
- Provide comparison of target and actual business results
- Provide immediate information to the General Manager about deviations from financial and business targets.
- Provide leadership in cross functional teams to improve and sustain financial results of our clients companies
- Support our clients with profound and in-depth analysis about business performance
- Provide leadership in compiling required management information in order to receive and generate all relevant data on-time.The tasks that must be done for our clients: Compile business and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Investment Budget, Inventory Status, etc. ...)
- Derive concrete and realizable management and action plans from financial statements for and with the functional departments
- Report actual financial results for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing periods
- Determine countermeasures for unfavorable variations and support management to reinforce favorable variations
- Implement and continuously improve internal controlling tools in respect of financial statements and key performance indicators
- Prepare and analyze ad-hoc profitability analyses
- Prepare and organize regular project management meeting to inform cross functional teams about the financial and operational performance of turn-around projects
In order to succeed in this demanding function you must have:
- Engineering degree + MBA or equivalent education (e.g. commercial engineer, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years experience in financial analysis or controlling, there of minimum 1-2 years experience in reporting, analyzing and evaluating financial results of P&L and Balance Sheet
- Minimum 3 years experience in technical functions (e.g. operations or process planning, production, product development, etc.)
- Good user knowledge of financial reporting and data-warehouse tools: ERP-systems (SAP is a plus), MS-office (particular good knowledge in Excel and Power Point)
- Good knowledge of international accounting principles (IFRS)
- Strong affinity to management accounting and financial management
- Proficiency in English language (German and French is a plus)
- Analytical mindset, structured working manner
